How can I request an exam copy?

If you teach in an academic institution and you're considering our products as a required resource in your classroom, you are welcome to request free examination (desk) copies of those products. Each product page on ZondervanAcademic.com features the option to request an exam copy. Or you can request an exam copy here—just enter the book's title or ISBN-13.

Examination copies are limited to one copy per title, per instructor. We provide an exam copy once—not each academic term that the textbook is used. Reference works (e.g. dictionaries, encyclopedias) are usually not offered as examination copies. Zondervan Academic reserves the right to decline an examination copy request. Exam copy requests are submitted through our online form; you are welcome to review our privacy policy.

Do I need to create an account on ZondervanAcademic.com before I can request an exam copy?

No, you do not need to create an account in order to request an exam copy. When you create an account you get access to hundreds of free Student Resources. If you apply for an Instructor account, and your account is approved, you also gain access to hundreds of free Instructor Resources. Create an account today.

How do I recover my password, or reset my password?

Reset your password on the sign in page (click "Forget your password"). We will send you an email with instructions for resetting your password. If you do not receive this email within five minutes, check your junk or spam folder.

How do I access the Instructor Resources?

Sign up for an Instructor account. If your account is approved you will be able to access our free Instructor Resources. Your Instructor account is most likely to be approved if you currently teach courses in an accredited academic institution, and if you provide us with up-to-date information on that institution during signup. Find free Instructor Resources by looking for products marked with a green Textbook Plus badge.

How do I access the Student Resources?

Anyone can access the free Student Resources if you create an account on ZondervanAcademic.com. Sign up for an account. Then find free Resources by looking for products marked with a green Textbook Plus badge.

I can't get access to the Instructor Resources even though I have an account.

Only approved Instructors may access Instructor Resources. Not everyone who creates an Instructor account is approved as an Instructor, but even if you are not approved, you can still access Student Resources. Account approval usually takes up to two business days.

How do I get approved as an Instructor?

If you teach in an accredited academic institution, select the Instructor option during signup on ZondervanAcademic.com. Fill out all the information we request on your school or institution. Once you complete the signup form we will review your information. Instructor accounts are typically reviewed, and then approved or disapproved, within two business days. Meanwhile, you may access any of the Student Resources.

I was not approved as an Instructor, but I should have been. What do I do now?

Sorry for the frustration! The quickest way to get help is to contact our support team. Explain that you need us to revisit your Instructor information. Include the name and location of your academic institution, a link to the school's website, your job title, and the courses you teach there. We will review this information and reconsider approval.

I'm trying to download a Textbook Plus Resource, but the download won't complete.

Sorry for your trouble! This may be related to a large file size or slow connection speed. First, check your Internet connection. If there are no issues with your connection, we recommend you try to download the resources through a different browser and/or device. Our site works with the latest versions of most common browsers and devices, but unfortunately we can't guarantee 100% compatibility across all systems. For best chance of success, try an up-to-date version of Chrome or Safari. Finally, the file may be too large to download at your connection speed. File sizes can range up to 100 MB (especially if you are downloading large presentation files), so if you are having repeated issues with downloads we recommend you switch to a location or device with a faster Internet connection. If none of these measures work, we recommend you contact customer support.

I am a pastor or ministry leader and I teach classes at my church. May I create an Instructor account?

Please understand that we cannot approve everyone who submits an Instructor account. (Some Instructor Resources are licensed specifically for classroom use.) If you don't teach in a traditional classroom you are still welcome to submit an Instructor account, and we will review it. During Instructor signup, please provide all the information we request from you, especially the name and website/social media page of the institution where you teach others. The good news is that even if you are not approved as an Instructor, you can view and download Student Resources once you create an account.

Do I need to buy Textbook Plus resources (Student and Instructor Resources)?

No, the resources are free. Create a free account on ZondervanAcademic.com to access the Instructor and Student Resources. Find these free Resources by looking for products marked with a green Textbook Plus badge.

I can't find Instructor or Student Resources for the product I'm viewing.

We're unable to provide Instructor and Student Resources for every one of our products. You will find free Instructor/Student Resources on the products marked by a Textbook Plus badge.

What kind of Student Resources do you offer?

Videos featuring the text's author, flashcards, discussion questions, and more.

What kind of Instructor Resources do you offer?

Quizzes and tests, exam questions, sample syllabi and learning objectives, and more. Presentation slides and image & map libraries are sometimes made available to Instructors who adopt a text for their classroom.

Why do only some Textbook Plus Resources include videos?

Each product marked with a Textbook Plus badge has a unique set of Instructor/Student Resources. Some products may only include a handful of Resources, while other products include many.

How do I adopt a text for my classroom?

Our website doesn't include special "adopt" features, but we can help you decide whether a Zondervan Academic product would make a good fit for your classroom. If you request an exam copy from us, a member of our team may reach out to you to answer any questions you may have about textbook adoption. If you do not need an exam copy but would like to ask us a question about text adoption, feel free to contact customer support.

When I add one of your products to my cart, why does the cart show the ChurchSource logo?

Our cart is powered by our colleagues at ChurchSource.com. You will see ChurchSource listed in your cart, and in your purchase confirmation and shipping notification emails. The email's from name will say ChurchSource, and your order number will start with CS. An example order number would be CS000001.

I bought a product from you. Why do my confirmation emails come from ChurchSource?

ChurchSource powers our ecommerce cart and the emails you receive about that purchase. Sample emails you may receive pertaining to a purchase, using order number CS000001 as an example, include "Order CS000001 Confirmed," "A shipment from order CS000001 is on the way," "A shipment from order CS000001 has been delivered." 

Where do you ship your products?

We can ship products anywhere within the continental United States.

Go to https://churchsource.com/account and log in with the password you used in the cart on ZondervanAcademic.com.
