Extra-Curricular Activities 9/3/10 - with videos and a personal note

Categories Extracurricular Activities

Esteban over at "The Voice of Stefan" has an interesting blog series going: "Sundays With Silva." This week's post was "On Academic Responsibility" - an important topic, for sure.

I appreciated Mike Bird's post on recent passings. Thanks, Mike.

Nick Norelli's post on middle names made me laugh!

Back to School Book Reviews and videos

Greek students and profs, take note: If you're in the market for Greek textbooks Daniel B. Wallace has a group of new videos on various Greek resources: Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics, A Workbook for New Testament Syntax, & New Testament Greek Syntax Laminated Sheet

Michael Brown's Jeremiah in the Expositor's Bible Commentary earned a favorable review by Philip Stearn at Suite101.

On a personal note: I was saddened by the allegations regarding New Tribes Mission and abused students. I know  a few NTM missionaries (as I'm sure many of us do) and even participated in an NTM mission trip when I was in high school. I'd love it if Koinonia readers prayed for NTM leadership, and for the victims, as they work through this situation. Please include your prayers in the comments section below. I'll get things started...
