Retrieve Christology for Today with "Christology, Ancient and Modern"
(Can't see the video? Watch it here)
Every generation is called upon to constructively engage theology for their day. That's the vision of the Los Angeles Theology Conference, an annual international conference concerned with the discussion and explication of Christian doctrine.
The inaugural conference engaged one of the most important doctrines in any age: Christology. The fruits of this dialogue is Christology, Ancient and Modern.
Today theology professor and co-editor Fred Sanders explains the importance of this discussion and the uniqueness of this book:
The doctrine of who Jesus Christ is is always important for any theological discussion for any age. It’s especially important today because there’s a sense of retrieval of classic categories in Christian doctrine. And we want to do contemporary theology that’s engaging and relevant for today.
PS—Remember that LATC is currently accepting submissions for 9 papers to be delivered at next year's conference, the theme of which is "Locating Atonement." Read the full explanation, here and be sure to join us for what promises to be another exciting discussion.
