Wednesday Giveaway - ZECNT Colossians and Philemon

Categories New Testament

ZECNT Colossians and PhilemonThe latest Zondervan Exegetical Commentary on the New
Testament
has just been released, and we are featuring it this week on Koinonia
as our Wednesday Giveaway!

Now joining the series is Colossians and Philemon, written by David
W. Pao (PhD Harvard University), a Professor of New Testament and the Chair of
the New Testament Department at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Following the mission of the ZECNT series, Pao aims to write
“primarily for the pastor and Bible teacher, not for the scholar. That is, the
aim is not to review and offer a critique of every possible interpretation that
has ever been given to a passage, but to exegete each passage of Scripture
succinctly in its grammatical and historical context. Each passage is
interpreted in the light of its biblical setting, with a view to grammatical
detail, literary context, flow of biblical argument, and historical setting.”

Colossians and Philemon is the sixth volume to be added to
the quickly expanding ZECNT series, with Acts and I and II Thessalonians both due this November.

To enter the giveaway, comment below with your answer to
this question: Paul begins Colossians by calling himself “an apostle of
Christ Jesus” – what defines an apostle?

Also, a bonus entry is available if you
comment a second time letting us know that you shared a link to this giveaway
on Facebook, Twitter, or your blog.
