Wednesday Giveaway - Five Views on Law and Gospel

Categories Theology

Five Views on Law and GospelDo the Law and the Gospel belong to two separate
dispensations? Has the Gospel replaced the Law? What is the relevance of the
Old Testament Law to our lives as Christians? Is there continuity between it
and what Christ expects of us in the Gospel?

These questions, and others like them, are the topic of this
week’s giveaway, Five Views on the Law and Gospel.

It is no secret that Christians have differed widely on
these questions. This book explores five major approaches to this important
biblical topic that have developed in Protestant circles.

Contributors Willem VanGemeren,
Greg Bahnsen, Walter Kaiser Jr., Wayne Strickland, and Douglas Moo present non-theonomic
Reformed, theonomic Reformed, weightier issues, Dispensational, and modified
Lutheran views, respectively. Each author then responds to the other essays.

As part of the Counterpoints series, Five Views on the Law
and Gospel
provides a forum for comparison and critique of these different views while allowing readers
to evaluate the merits of each and reach their own conclusions.

To enter the giveaway, comment below with your answer to this question: Does the Mosaic Law have a role in the Christian's daily life?

Also, a bonus entry is available if you comment a second time letting us know that you shared a link to this giveaway on Facebook, Twitter, or your blog.
