Wednesday Giveaway - Sing and Learn New Testament Greek
Almost all of us have, at some point, realized we were humming
a song we hadn't heard in months, or caught ourselves singing along with a
chorus that we had hardly even realized was playing in the background.
Most of
the time this does not surprise us, because we know that music tends to be memorable in a unique way.
This week’s giveaway, Sing and Learn New Testament Greek,
utilizes that memorable quality that songs have to help students of Greek
memorize the various grammar paradigms that are key to getting a handle on the
language.
The CD includes songs for indicative verb endings,
participles, infinitives, imperatives, contract forms, and prepositions, among
others, and all but the last song can be sung in 15 seconds or less.
Beginning Greek students can listen to Sing and Learn New
Testament Greek as they drive to and from school or work, or put it on their
iPod. These songs are so simple that students who have used them have even been
known to complain about waking up in the middle of the night with the songs
running through their heads! A complaint rarely if ever heard from students
attempting traditional rote memorization.
